Manatee County's PRIMARY Election was Tuesday, August 20th. 

We believe that what happens in the primary has huge implications on LOCAL issues. We urge our readers to learn about the candidates in state and local races and understand their stance on the issues we hold dear. Ask them the tough questions about agriculture, our rural lands, and our water. And vote accordingly. 

We invited all candidates in state and local races in our area to respond to East Manatee Preservation Association's Questionnaire.
